About Me
Over the past two decades, I have been on a journey of personal recovery from psychological ill health and a loss of wellbeing.
Having tried many different approaches towards health and wellbeing.
These pages contain insights from my journey, with tools and techniques gained though my own personal experience along with the educational insights gleaned through my BA in applied theology, BSc in occupational therapy, MSc in applied positive psychology and coaching psychology, and now insight from my PhD journey.

My Background
Education
I hold a BA in Applied Theology with Youth and Community work, a BSc in Occupational Therapy and an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. This year I have begun my PhD journey with the Nature Connectedness Research Group at the University of Derby.

Personal Experience
I have been applying positive psychology and nature connectedness theory and practices for over two decades in my own life, both in my personal recovery and ongoing psychological health and wellbeing.

Specialisation
I specialise in using nature connectedness theories and practices along with positive psychology research in order to help others who like me, long for psychological health and wellbeing through the medium of nature.
My PhD research is focused around positive psychology interventions using nature themed metaphors, and how these relate to meaning in nature connectedness, health and wellbeing.
Who I Help
In short, anyone can benefit from an increase in nature connectedness for their psychological health and wellbeing; however, I specialise from experience, in women, who, like me have sought help to improve their psychological health and wellbeing through many avenues, yet are still searching for more.
How I Do It
Through one -to-one coaching sessions, using a positive psychology approach and coaching psychology techniques as a foundation, I meet via online or in person coaching. Starting with a free chemistry session to clarify goals and how I might be of help, to a creative, nature based goal setting session, and one off or regular coaching sessions; uniquely tailored to you.
